The Weight of Words

We blame God for the storms, the silence, the breaking.
But the truth?
We sow. We reap.
Our words—echoes of belief—
often drift from truth
and stray from heaven’s voice.
There’s a war of whispers.
Lies that bend the heart.
The enemy doesn’t need your life—
just your agreement.
If he can get you to say
what God would never say,
your words shape your world.
Your harvest is in your mouth
Death and life are in the tongue—
not just in curses,
but in quiet lies:
“I’m not enough.”
“I”ll never get well”
“This is just how it is.”
“It’s God’s will.”
“He’s in control”
If His will is always done,
why is the world so broken?
God gave man dominion,
and a Savior to redeem it.
The enemy is real—
and sometimes, it’s us.
We say we trust Him,
but live like He’s silent.
Yet God is always working
to redeem, restore.
Our words either align with Him
or resist Him.
Every word is a seed.
Every harvest, true.
His laws work like a well oiled machine
All good comes from God.
Every sorrow unredeemed—
ours or the enemy’s doing.
So speak life.
Speak truth.
Let your mouth match His—
and your life will follow.
